I am from Southern California (Los Angeles) and I am currently studying at Humboldt State University. During these three months I am taking my classes online. Prior to leaving for Japan I thought this opportunity was too good to be true! I am truly grateful to be able to volunteer and be apart of this cultural exchange. My goal coming to teach English here in Hyogo is to gain more experience with children and see if teaching English is something I would want to continue doing in the future.
